Once you get into the habit of doing something that renders amazing results, the goal becomes to be able to mimic that habit to be able to retain those same results if not better every time.  With that I'm still testing out products that will do amazing things for my hair.  I have a tendency to try things in pairs when it comes to hair.
Its really a bad idea that a 24 hour CVS is within walking distance of my home.
Armed with several coupons and frizzed out natural hair, I walked into CVS looking for something to help define my curls.

**I wasn't too crazy about this because the curl shaping spray gel hardens the hair, and is quiet difficult to spray out the bottle.  It does have a great hold but who wants hard hair?.

** The curl sculpting gel was rather nice. It gave the curls some definition and DEFINITELY controlled my frizz.  The hair was also soft even after it dried.

LOOOVE the twist defining cream. It did exactly that. I've always been to worried about having too much product in my hair as a result I never use enough to actually get any real results from but I definitely slathered this on my hair and there wasn't any gross residue after dry.  My hair is still super soft and manageable. The twists aren't as defined but there is still some kink to it. {Contains - Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, Amla, Sugar Beet Root and Phytosterols (basically plant steriods -lol)}.

**The smoothing gel is also great it contains Aloe Vera Gel, Sugar Beet Root, Vegetable Glycerin and Wheat Protein. ..[maybe this is really what kept my hair super soft].  Over all I love the combination of both products in my hair. It smells delicious and Reduced frizz.

All of these products were purchased from CVS.

  4. I haven't tried the As I am products..thanks for the review!

  5. Sounds really great! I don't think these products will work for me though, since I have very sleek and thin hair :(

    1. I actually tried the Garnier products on a sleek wig that I have it worked but it was really strong. I would use a dime size amount or less with a little water if I tried it.

  6. Can't find the Fructis ones here in Doha. :( I think they would be nice for my perms.
