MINI BEAUTY HAUL
I've been super excited about trying new things lately.
I've been experimenting with skin care so much that I'm sure you guys are sick of it but I'm not quiet there yet. Very recently, Maybelline has launched some new items that I just could not wait to try.
Milani #25 -Naturally Chic. (Refer to the photos below for a better color display)
It looks way more orange in photos.
Revitalift Miracle Blur - It indeed is a miracle blur. The consistency is comparable to a heavy cream but once its on, you skin feels silky smooth and radiant. You can feel the cream settling and sealing or concealing your fine lines prepping it for what ever else is to come. My only complaint is that for someone with oily skin, this feel almost excessively oily when applied alone.
WALGREENS || CVS || MAYBELLINE
Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal! - What I first applied this, I didn't notice much of a difference because I didn't really apply it properly but this the proper technique, no more falsies will be needed in your life! The only down side for me would be how hard the lashed get after a few minutes of application. Make no errors while applying.
Maybelline - The Nudes
My first favorite thing about this palette is how cute and easily portable it is. I have a bit of an issue getting past the shimmery appearance of the shadows since I plan on wearing this during the day. It isn't so highlighted once worn. The palette is also quite pigmented which I like a lot.The colors are definitely day and night time friendly - hence the nudes - . There is also quite a bit of fall out but that might be attested to the fact that its still very new.
WALGREENS || CVS || MAYBELLINE ( I was only able to find this online at CVS.com but they do carry them in stores at both CVS and Walgreens)
(Top Left) - 1. Bareface 2. L'OREAL Miracle Blur Application. 3. Foundation and Mattifying powder applied.
4. Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal mascara applied. (No curling no faux lashes) 5. Milani Naturally Chic Lipstick. 6. Full face.
*FINAL IMPRESSION - I am definitely very impressed with the miracle blur instant skin smoother because it does exactly that. Although it feels super moisturizing, it leaves me glowing and having to refresh my powder application several times during the day. But for this air brushed look... I think I can deal with that.
