#LILWY Fluffy Shea Butter Cream Review

Since transitioning into my natural hair, I've always been scouting the best, fastest and easiest way to manage my hair while spending as little time as possible on it.

Needless to say I'm heavily a protective style kind of girl from day 1!

Over time, I've learned what works best for my hair, sometimes through trial and error.
During the stages of my transition in 2010, I didn't know about hair typing or the LOCmethod but in 2017 I can tell you my 4C (kinky and coily) malnourished hair reacts very well with leave in creamy conditioners and heavy oils like JBCO.

Recently one of my favorite Youtubers launched a new hair butter that I could not wait to get my hands on. Liv's hair butter contains all natural ingredients like Shea butter, castor, apricot, argan oil, and lavender (she has a video on how she makes this here). If you know anything about natural hair, you know all these ingredients stimulates hair growth and healthier stronger strands. I purchased it because we have similar (looking) hair types and  also because her hair is flourishing so I believe she knows what she is talking about with regards to hair care.

I purchased this the first time it launched but unfortunately it is currently sold out. I believe she will be re-launching them again very shortly. Keep an eye out on her social media and website for more of her self love posts and natural hair videos via her Live In Live With You site

Below is my overall experience with the #LILWY hair butter

First Impression
Opening the package was nothing short of "an experience". Liv filled the box with lavender and dried flower petals. The product comes in a small glass jar with a very simple logo printed on the side.

Overall Experience
A lot of thought and labor of love definitely went into the creation of this hair butter. From the expedited shipping down to the simple packaging. I always appreciate the effort that small businesses put into creating a customer experience with their product. The hair butter was really amazing. It smelled strongly of Shea Butter and Lavender which is absolutely wonderful!. The butter in the jar has a very soft whipped consistency when stored in a cool - room temperature place. When applying, massage gently with your fingertips and watch it melt. Overall, I really enjoyed how moisturized my hair felt when using this and also that it smells so great, I don't mind the lingering smell at all.

Liv if you are reading this, I am so incredibly proud of you and the things you are doing with your platform. You set goals and crush them every time no matter what you are going through! It is so wonderful to see such hard working young woman move the way you do!.

Keep Going Girl!!
