Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo, Conditioner + Heat Protector Review

When I first went natural, there weren’t many products that necessarily catered to my natural hair needs. I found that in my transition, my unprocessed hair was very high maintenance and needed a lot of love, attention and moisture! My natural hair was as dry as a bale of wheat in the dry fall months! Aussie was one of those brands that although wasn’t marketed for natural hair, it definitely gave me what I needed.

Fast forward to today, when Influenster gifted me this set to try out and review, I knew it was going to be something awesome!. Let’s get into how Aussie’s Moisture Mist shampoo and conditioner fit into my hair care routine today.

As mentioned, my natural / unprocessed hair is quite dry, brittle and very prone to breakage. I have learned that even if I’m using hair growth topical products, I still need to retain moisture in the scalp and on the strands to successfully attain length retention. Here is where Aussie’s Miracle Moist has entered the chat.

The shampoo is so deeply cleansing and moisturizing on my scalp and hair strands. My hair doesn’t feel striped and in combination with the concealer, my hair overall feels so soft and manageable while detangling.

I’m currently exploring being a “straight natural” (Natural hair that is often heat straightened / heat styled) because I have found that it is much more manageable for my lifestyle. I hated the idea of using the blow dryer after every wash but with the heat protection spray, I feel totally comfortable knowing I can blow dry and straighten my hair as frequently as needed while minimizing damage.
