Chéribé Oil for hair + scalp

• I tried the Chéribé Oil for hair and scalp with Chébé complex + Rosemary and I have some big feelings about it! - Let’s get into it! •

Thank you to Chéribé for gifting me this hair oil for me to try and share my honest review.

For reference, I have kinky / coily 4c natural afro textured hair. My scalp is typically dry and I thought it couldn’t hold moisture but this hair oil proved otherwise.

PRODUCT CLAIMS: Boosts circulation with strengthens hair. Boosts hair growth and density and helps with length retention.

USE / INTAKE: Apply a few drops then massage into hair strands avoiding the scalp if being used as a leave in. When using it as a rinse out treatment, apply directly to the scalp and leave in hair for up to 10 minutes before rinsing out.

PROS: - The container is designed for the product to be easily dispensed but doesn’t spill or over pour.

• The light weight and hydrating oil seals in moisture into your hair follicles for a long period of time.

CONS: Honestly struggling to find a con at this time. If one comes up in the future, I’ll be sure to update.

STANDOUT FEATURES: This is a clean salon-quality vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologist tested, and hypoallergenic. No use of sulfates, silicones, parabens, phtalates or animal testing. No artificial dyes, drying alcohols, mineral oils or phenoxyethanol (which sometimes cases skin irritation or can trigger eczema for some people) .

OVERALL: I test A LOT of products on a consistent basis, so whenever I come across a product that I can’t stop reaching for, I am truly amazed. The Chéribé oil is not like any other oil I have ever used in my hair. It hydrates the hair strands and seals in the hydration for longevity. After a few days, my hair still felt hydrated and moisturized.

Usually when combing through my hair I can hear the dry ends pulling apart, and shedding all over the floor. The first time I used this, I immediately saw visibly hydrated my hair looked. My scalp also has stayed moisturized for a longer time between wash days. Over time, I have seen such a difference in the texture and health of the new growth hair. It feels softer, hydrated and definitely stronger.

I absolutely love the fragrance of this hair oil, the beautiful earthy and floral smell does linger for a little while. I absolutely love it!

10/10 would recommend this oil. Especially for thick kinky, 4c hair. I absolutely love it and my family has been enjoying it too!
