Elroel Pang Pang Sun Cushion Plus
• I wasn’t going to dedicate an entire blogpost to this but in the season of sunscreens raiding the market place, I thought it would be necessary to share which ones are worth it and what not to spend your money on.•
This review is based on my experience using this (or trying to use it) a few times (you’ll see why)
For reference, I have very melanated skin (as it relates to this blog post).
PACKAGING: I loved this packaging! It’s so chic and portable and will travel very well. Since it is a cushion product and not liquid it’s safe to keep in your bag when traveling.
PRODUCT CLAIMS: An SPF that makes re-application a breeze as a cushion puff. 72 hr hydration and travel friendly sun cushion.
USE / APPLICATION: Simply open the hard plastic cover, pat the puff on the cushion then apply to your skin.
PROS: It is compact and very travel friendly. Very long lasting.
CONS: It had a very chalky finish after application and remained chalky hours later. This finish was so incredibly white on my skin. Very much an issue a lot of melanated people face when it comes to sunscreens.
OVERALL: While I adore the compact design of the product. I wouldn’t use / recommend this based on performance. It leaves a very white cast finish as well as how drying it feels after application and this is never flattering on melanated skin tones.
