Topicals

topicals ingrown tonic review

• I tried this Topicals ingrown tonic to try to reduce the appearance of my hormonal acne but I ended up using it everywhere!! - Let’s get into it! •

As always, with any health related product review, please read / try after your own extensive research. Talk to a medical professional first if you need to. The below is my review based on using the tonic for at least 3 months.

For reference, I have oily / combination skin. I also do have hormonal acne breakouts on my chin and along my jawline.

PACKAGING: plastic with a rollerball top

PRODUCT CLAIMS: a lightweight serum for your face, armpits and bikini area, to soothe, calm and comfort irritated skin, and discourage the formation of visible bumps from ingrown hairs. Retails for $26 at Sephora

USE / INTAKE: shake well, then apply using the rollerball directly on your skin.

PROS: vegan | cruelty free. Gentle bus super effective on the skin. Can also be layered with your skincare routine.

CONS: literally - none.

NOTES*: Recommended for all skin types. For skincare concerns like dark spots, uneven texture, acne & blemishes.

OVERALL: I picked this up on a whim to try for my hormonal acne breakouts on my jaw line and I am so, so glad that I did! It has *super star ingredients* like salicylic acid (penetrates pores to Target bump-causing buildup), Zinc PCA (minimizes the appearance of skin irritation) and Glycolic Acid (Exfoliates to visibly refine uneven texture)! If you want a bang for your buck, this is it! I literally apply it almost everyday or when I feel bumps starting to form, then by the next morning everything is gone! I would 1000% recommend this if you gets bumps from shaving or want a quick (temporary fix) for acne bumps - again, I’m not a doctor or a professional, just a skin care super enthusiast and this happen to work for me.
